[Tech] carddav plugin 0.2.1 for roundcube 0.5.1
This is an intermediate release of the CardDAV plugin for Roundcube.
It just adds some error logging using RCM's internal logging facility to help debug some problems.

I'm not able to connect to my davical server with this plugin. I'm able to use the SoGo connector plugin for Thunderbird, so davical carddav is working.
I've modified my config file with the same parameters and altered it on purpose to make sure RCM is reading it (the log shows the mod). Here's the error I get in the log:

The davical wiki states that davical will fall back to basic authentication. SoGo connector doesn't use any authentication (my experimental carddav is set read/write), yet it connects fine.
I'm missing something basic, can anyone help me on this?

Hi Gary.
I've seen that problem reported (FS#5) several times now but have been unable to find a reason and/or solution.
I'm using it with davical myself and it's working fine. It seems to be related to authentication problems as the HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized indicates.
Can you check your davical error logs (apache and davical itself) and if you see anything that might be helpful add it to the above mentioned Flyspray task?
